Why should I set up a profile on ShermansTravel.com?
In the near future ShermansTravel will be able to offer you personalized travel deals and content based on your departure city and profile interests.
How do I set up a profile?
You can set up your profile by clicking "Sign up" on the top right of the ShermansTravel.com homepage.
Is it "free" to set up a profile?
Yes, there is NO charge at all for setting up and updating your profile – it is absolutely FREE.
What is the Top 25 Newsletter?
The Top 25 Newsletter is an e-newsletter, sent out every Wednesday, consisting of the 25 best travel deals of the week.
If I am already a newsletter subscriber do I need to set up a profile?
Yes. Even if you subscribe to our newsletter, you need to set up a profile in order to receive our forthcoming personalized deals and content.
How did ShermansTravel obtain my personal information if I did not provide it when creating my user profile?
If the e-mail address you've submitted to create your ShermansTravel user profile is already on file with us (courtesy of sign-ups for previous accounts like the Top 25 Newsletter or Sherman's Travel magazine), our system will automatically integrate all personal information that you've recorded with us in the past. Please feel free to review, update, or omit this information at My Account.
Why should I enter my zip code?
This will allow ShermansTravel to provide you with travel deals that originate from your departure city.
Why should I select special interests?
Selecting special interests will allow ShermansTravel to serve you with travel deals and content relevant to the types of travel experiences you enjoy.
Why can't I log in after setting up my profile?
After you set up your profile, you will receive a confirmation email in your inbox. Click on the link provided in this email in order to verify your account. Once your account has been verified you will be able to log in with your email address or username and the password you selected.
How do I edit my profile?
Once signed in just click on "Profile" on the left navigation, then update and save with your new information.
How do I manage my subscriptions (subscribe/unsubscribe from e-newsletters)?
Once signed in simply click "Email Subscriptions" on the left navigation. You can then subscribe or unsubscribe to any ShermansTravel emails, including Top 25, Luxe List, and Bulletins.
I forgot my username and/or password. What do I do?
Click "Login" on the top right of the screen; a log in window will pop up. Click "lost your username or password", then enter your email address. Your username will be sent to you along with a link to set up a new password.
Is my account private?
Yes, only you will be able to access your account; do not permit others to use your login information to access the site. Please direct anyone who does not have a profile to sign up for FREE by going to ShermansTravel.com and clicking "Register" on the top right of the homepage.
Why did I receive two ShermansTravel.com Account Confirmation emails?
Most likely, you have received two Account Confirmation emails because, after signing up for an account, you did not confirm it via the first Account Confirmation email sent at that time. The second, identical email was sent to you upon attempting to Login into your unconfirmed account, and clicking on the "Confirm it now" link provided on your login attempt. Please see "Why can't I log in after setting up my profile?" in this FAQ for account confirmation instructions.
How should I handle the following alert: "Form request is invalid and insecure. Please try again"?
This is a security feature to ensure that you are accessing this form from a valid URL on our servers, and thereby ensures that this form is not tampered with. You may have received the error after logging out of your account, and not refreshing the page before logging back in. Please reload the page in your browser, and try again.
