Park trails and one of the world’s largest underwater cave systems exist alongside world-class shopping, dining, and accommodations. Its capital, Freeport, is The Bahamas’ second largest city.

East of New Providence, Eleuthera is littered with pink- and white-sand beaches, small hotels, and family-run restaurants. Features include the Glass Window Bridge with its sea views and Preacher's Cave, used for religious services in the 17th century.

This quaint, well-off town, a short ferry hop from North Eleuthera, was settled by Loyalists 300 years ago. Traditional seaside wooden cottages commingle with top-notch dining and boutique hotels.

This chain of 365 islands is a major yachting destination. It hosts the annual Family Island Regatta and shelters to the world’s first designated marine park.

Life moves at its own pace at this quiet farming island away from the city’s bustle. It’s renowned for white, powdery beaches and magnificent blue holes (visible underwater sink holes just off the coast).

Andros, just southwest of Nassau, is the largest and most undeveloped of all of the islands of the Bahamas. The area is a nature-lover’s paradise – it is covered in forests and mangrove swamps and is home to blue holes and the world’s third largest barrier reef.
